Detection data: When you submit text for analysis, we process it in real time and store only a short snippet (first 200 characters) along with the detection result for your history. Full submitted text is not stored.

Usage data: We track basic usage metrics such as daily check counts to enforce plan limits.

Payment information: Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. We receive only subscription status and plan information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the AI detection service
• Manage your account and subscription
• Enforce usage limits based on your plan
• Display your detection history
• Improve our detection accuracy and service reliability

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• OpenAI: Submitted text is sent to OpenAI's API for AI detection analysis. See OpenAI's usage policies for details on how they handle API data.
• Payment provider: Your email is shared with our payment processor to manage subscriptions. We do not store your card details.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Detection history snippets are retained indefinitely for your reference. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and session-based authentication to protect your data.

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information in your account
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your detection history
